Default Is there hope for this country - Philippines?

Many many years ago, President MLQ, mentioned that he would rather see the Filipinos living like hell run by Filipinos, rather than live in heaven run by Americans.

Perhaps that was said more than 50 years ago and indeed since then for the majority of the Filipino people, this is close to a living hell. Perhaps MLQ knew exactly, the values, characteristic, mentality, culture, divisiveness, religion, dialect, regionalistic that his prediction is indeed accurate.

Thus this country because of the fragmented population can easily be manipulated. Hence, Is there hope for these country - our one and only beloved country to prosper and stand tall among its asean neighbors?

"In order for evil to flourish, all that is required is for good men to do nothing."

Good people need to step up and run for public office, and run this country properly. And to do that, they need each and every one of our help.

Remember success can't be done by only few good men and women it need support from the people aand do not rely on church support. Do what you can do for your country, and don't wait until the country will do something good for you. God is always around watching the good well of all.

Theory of individualism. Every person should use their skill and not follow the trend. It's not about what's in, or where or how to make a lot of money, it's about what the individual is really good at and I believe Filipinos is one of the best in the whole world.

Its what MLQ wants, sadly its Not what the Filipino people wants. The problem of our country is that we follow what our few politicians wants and Not what the people really wants. Mao nga HOPE nlay nahibilin natu ug wa nay lain.

Someday we would wake up realizing that the only thing Lower than us is the Ground.

We have an underdeveloped democracy because of these people. They were too greedy and impatient, they were hungry for power and couldn't wait for the Americans to finish building up our institutions so we could be ready for democracy.

Even Lee Kuan Yew said you can't have democracy if the people lack education on how to live and vote in a democracy and he was right. Most voters just sell their votes instead of really thinking about who they are voting for, and once they vote them into office they don't bother keeping them honest and instead keep voting the same people back into office.

Unless we make a large investment in education and reduce our population there's no hope for this country. Education and high standard of living are essential to survival of democratic states. That's why most Asian countries were pro-business dictatorships before they became democracies. Eg. Taiwan, South Korea even imperial Japan.
