dude i suggest you get a canon if you are planning on video recording. although the best option would go for a mirror-less camera which is Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH2 the best interchangeable lens with a mirror-less body.(nose-bleed na hahaha) anyway the second option would be the Canon's 5D MkII which damn expensive and that is followed by Canon's 7D if yoo could afford it then go for it. Next would be the Nikon's 5100 with their famous autofocusing for video recording, next would be Canon's 550D. and you won't really be having a problem with the "NOISY ELECTRONIC FOCUSING " on Canon. Why? Heck it's on manual focus when you do video. Another problem with autofocusing for nikon is when you do DOF's you get the tendency to go out-of-focus mainly it is a firmware problem and to solve it would be upgrading the firmware of the camera. anyway just try to check and find out what's the reason why national geographic, cnn, abs-cbn, fox, and lately hollywood uses canon dslr's for almost everything and not CCD cameras anymore. one of it's main reason would be price difference

the best suggestion I can give you if youre in cebu go to photoshop in baseline and look for peter go he knows almost every product by heart since he is selling it by heart. just be sure to inform him of the original plan that you have and tell him of the price range of your budget.
always remember canon, nikon, olympus, mamiya, hasselblad or what system you got, it is not the camera or the lens that you use to make good pictures or videos it is your creativity. it's not the bow and arrow it's the arrower. hahaha bring out the indian in you as Lito Inso would say
