    Thumbs up Food for the Heart

    These are some words of wisdom I read in my BB.
    I think mga maayo ni sila nga passages to nurture relationships.

    --- Never say anything that isn't true. You have nothing to do with lies and misleading words. Proverbs 4:24

    --- Keep your words with you always, locked in your heart. Proverbs 6:21

    --- The start of an argument is like the first break in a dam; stop it before it goes any further. Proverbs 17:14

    --- Do you want to meet an important person? Take a gift and it will be easy. Proverbs 18:16

    --- You will have to live with the consequences of everything you say. What you say can preserve life or destroy it; so you must accept the consequences of your words. Proverbs 18:20-21

    --- Enthusiasm without knowledge is not good; impatience will get you into trouble. Proverbs 19:2

    --- Wait and be patient, and later you will be glad you did. Sirach 1:23

    --- Stand up for what is right, even if it costs you your life; the Lord God will be be fighting on your side. Sirach 4:28

    --- Be certain about what you believe and consistent in what you say. Sirach 5:9

    --- When you see a good-looking woman, look the other way; don't let your mind dwell on the beauty of any woman who is not your wife. Sirach 9:8

    --- If you trust the Lord, you cannot lose. Sirach 32:24

    --- Love must be completely sincere. Hate what is evil, hold on to what is good. Romans 12:9

    --- Let your hope keep you joyful, be patient in your troubles, and pray at all times. Romans 12:12

    --- To love, then, is to obey the whole Law. Romans 13:10

    No greater relationship a couple could have but a relationship that's yielding to Christ. GOD BLESS TO ALL THE COUPLES AND SINGLES TOO.

    here's one of the famous bible quotes.. i heard this sa simbahan and it felt awesome nga mag huna2 ku sa akung bf nga e apply ni namu sa amung relationship. our relationship will be much nicer with God's guidance and presence.

    Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous;
    love does not brag and is not arrogant, does not act unbecomingly;
    it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered,
    does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth;
    bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
    Love never fails...But now faith, hope, love, abide these three; but the greatest of these is love.

    1 Corinthians 13:4-7,13

    i like the inspiring passages. it's good to know nga religious pud ni si TS. hehehe
    i'll let my boyfriend read your chosen passages when he comes here to visit me. he also loves God.
    thank you for sharing TS! God bless

    Proverbs 5:19
    A loving doe, a graceful deer—may her breasts satisfy you always, may you ever be captivated by her love. (NIV)

    Proverbs 10:12

    Proverbs 13:24

    Proverbs 15:17
    A bowl of vegetables with someone you love is better than steak with someone you hate. (NLT)

    Proverbs 17:9
    Love prospers when a fault is forgiven, but dwelling on it separates close friends. (NLT)

    Proverbs 17:17
    A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity. (NIV)

    Proverbs 30:18-19
    There are three things that amaze me—
    no, four things that I don’t understand:
    how an eagle glides through the sky,
    how a snake slithers on a rock,
    how a ship navigates the ocean,
    how a man loves a woman. (NLT)

    Song of Solomon 1:2
    Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth— for your love is more delightful than wine. (NIV)

    Song of Solomon 2:16
    My lover is mine, and I am his. (NLT)

    Many waters cannot quench love; rivers cannot wash it away. If one were to give all the wealth of his house for love, it would be utterly scorned. (NIV)

    Matthew 22:37–39
    Jesus said to him, 'You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.' This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' (NKJV)

    1 Corinthians 13:1-3
    If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing. (NIV)

    1 Corinthians 13:4–8a
    Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails ...
