10 seconds blank screen before mu gawas ang display. Is this normal?

Good day peeps. bago lang nako na transfer ako pc parts from a silver casing to an all transparent casing. First time nako naka transfer ug pc parts all by myself. The pc works fine thankfully. pero theres one thing i noticed. maybe psychological rapud ni.... ive noticed that when i press the start switch, it takes about 10 seconds nga mag blank screen ako monitor before mugawas ang "press del to enter setup" and so on etc....

normal ra bani nga 10 seconds mag blank screen? if this is not normal, what could be causing it? your info would be very appreciated. thanks in advance.

hmm 10 seconds gyud? medyo dugay man, my last system mo blank siya for a few seconds lang, bali dili nimo makita ang vcard info, diretso sa bios info dayon, pero 10 seconds murag dugay na

yup 10 seconds jud blank screen bro.. murag dili mani ingani before nako gibalhin lain casing. by d way, specs nako a64 3700+, 1g ram ddr400, 7300gt ddr3.

hmm we have the same vcard, try daw reseat sa mem or mga pci cards

are you still using the same PSU from your old casing? if that is a new PSU basin dugay siya kahatag og enough power for boot up.

Good day once again peeps, I reattached the video card last night, tightened a few screws of almost everything, replaced one malfunctioning aux fan and observed my start-up very closely (with a stopwatch). Ok ra diay, ako nabantayan is mag blank screen for 10 seconds if dili niya i-display ang vidcard info and mu dritso sa bios info.... But if i-display niya ang vidcard info 5 seconds lang naka blank screen.

So ingani cya most of the time: switch power----- 5seconds blank screen----- vidcard info----- after 5 seconds bios info------ loading windows----- etc. I think normal nani ingani nga sequence.

(naay times mu dritso ra xa sa bios info, and that's when mag 10 seconds blank screen, pero the same time ra gyapon maka sulod sa windows)


@spookey - ako gamit nga psu the same as what I used sa old casing. 450watts nga dynamo psu gipalit mga 1month ago. (gaduda pud gani ko ana ako psu at first nga basin kulang ug power ky karon, daghan kaayo gi-providan ug electricity kay 5 fans and 2 neon lamps ako casing karn. Pero bago rako ga send ug video sa ako cusin, almost the same amu specs, then ingun man cya ok radaw ako startup, pareho ra daw sa iya)

ok ra na...as for your PSU, 450 watts is more than enough....mga 2-4 watts raman ang kaon each fan or neon lights...

kun crt imo monitor nya magdungan ug on sa cpu murag madugay mo display kay ang monitor kinahanglan pa moinit una mo display dayon , pero kun naka on na daan ang crt monitor dali nalang mo display ang bios sa video card, dili man gud nimo makit an ang bios sa video card kun bugnaw pa ang crt monitor.
