need Blackberry help, please!

I own a Blackberry Curve.

Sa screen, it indicates that i have 'gprs'. But for now, I do not want to use my BB as a device for data services. I just want to use it as a text and call device. So i want it to switch to 'gsm'. It says 'GSM' for a while if I reset my phone but it immediately turns into gprs.

How can i switch it to gsm? pls help me.

naka BIS ka? if wala pwede ra ka txt lang pero kung BIS ka dili ka maka txt kung naka GSM mode sya.

I usually do this with my siblings BB Curve, turn "off" your data services this disconnects the internet in your phone. if its turned on switch it off and save.but... if its grayed out, (meaning its there but you can't do squat about it) you need to see your network provider and raise your concern. Check if you have now 3G icon displayed on your homescreen. hope this helps. =)
