The results of the 2010 Bar examinations will be released on Thursday, a Supreme Court official said Tuesday.
The Supreme Court will hold a special en banc session also on Thursday for the decoding and determination of passing percentage of the Bar examinations.
The examinations were held last September and were marred by a grenade-throwing incident that left close to 50 people, mostly law students outside the venue, injured. The incident was blamed on warring fraternities.
A total of 4,847 law graduates took the 2010 Bar examinations at the De La Salle University on Taft Avenue in Manila, according to the Office of the Bar Confidant.
The Supreme Court conducts the Bar examinations pursuant to Article VIII, Section 5 of the Constitution which provides that it shall have the power to promulgate rules governing the admission to the practice of law. - Sophia Dedace/KBK, GMA News
