Meet B.E.A.R. (Battlefield Extraction-Assist Robot), a robot that was developed by Vecna Robotics.

The company stated that its latest invention was created with the goal of carrying injured soldiers out of the battlefield, informs Geekologie.

However, in the video below the developers demonstrate a number of other things that the robot can do.

Not only can B.E.A.R help soldiers in the battlefield, it can also break open doors, lift heavy loads such as missiles. It can also transform in shape to a certain extent.

Isn't it ridiculous...you develop a robot that assists human combatants who got wounded because another (enemy) human combatant shot at him, because this is their means of "settling their differences". You have a society sophisticated enough to develop BEAR, but not sophisticated enough to settle their differences in a non-violent way. Philosophy aside, yes, a neat invention.

i doubt it could maneuver through harsh terrains like thick vegetations, rocky grounds, soft desert sand, icy savannas, etc.

the US government will spend about $1.7 billion on ground-based military robots and B.E.A.R. is just one of them... soon humans will be replaced by these helping and fighting machines. The future will be like transformers

2 things

- they had to raise the guy up three feet so he can get shot at again.

- if you have a power failure the guy fall with the weight of the robot on him.
