Please suggest a good laptop

I'm thinking of buying a laptop. My budget would be around 45k.
Use for laptop is mostly for software development and should be able to play recently released games. I'm also expecting to do some video editing and some 3d modeling with my future laptop.

An example of what I'm interested in is the ASUS U43JC but I don't think this is available here yet. . .

Please, if possible, include some specs in your suggestion. Thanks, istoryans!

Maybe you can canvass around some stores (prices are not usually posted over the net on laptops)... and check out what's best for your budget.

Estimated battery life ani ky 10hrs, but i've read in some forums of actual owners ky around 7hrs ra ang actual. That's still good, considering na dili ni sya netbook.
Another plus is that the cover and the part asa murest imung hands when you type is made of bamboo. so dili sakit sa kamot ky dili mn sya parehas aluminum na mu-init.
by the way, this is $999. Thats around P43,536.42 according to the exchange rate of 02/17/11.
which is not a bad price. . . but and nakabati lang ky murag kelangan pa jd ni orderon sa gawas. . .

Btw, sir...if you're looking to play some games and 3d rendering mostly... I suggest you find laptops with the "AMD Vision" or ATI Chipsets. They make good GPUs...even my gf's laptop can run SC2 smoothly with a built-in HD4200...low settings though.
