There's this opportunity to go abroad somewhere in US, Australia sponsored by a relatives for a tourist visa only and would take four months vacation as allowed by embassy but would compromise the present work because there's no company would allow employee to leave for that long. Are you going to go or not? will you leave your work for the sake of this big opportunity? This person is very confused since his been working for quite a while more than 6 years in the company.
He find his work boring now because its routinary duties and find no improvement due to political culture in the company.

tourist lang? nope..... well, that's just me.... pero if pwede ma-convert to working visa (which is very expensive) why not kung maabot sa pamilya...

Is he married and the sole breadwinner in the family? And is his current job his only source of living? If so, he must take into consideration the financial side of this matter for he can't just leave behind those that depend on him financially with a seemingly diffident chances of making it or even finding a job abroad much more that it is but just a "tourist visa". And I am just talking about the practical aspect of the matter, there are still other sides to consider and to ponder upon. Just a thought here

I will go for it since I naa naman d i 6 years experience and he is not loving his job. Bati bya jd na mg trabaho ka na dli ka ganahan. tsk..tsk..

I agree w/ dearlabe's advice. if finance doesn't matter, go for vacation. it might open greater opportunities. if not then just enjoy the vacation and when ur back, apply for a better job.
