Which do you think is the best, Canon 500d or Nikon D5000?

My friend needs to deliberate which one would fit for her. She doesn't care about the video quality, what she wants is the photographic quality. But she's in a great dilemma of which of the two produces better quality pictures in any type of conditions...

kung ako papilion ang mas nindot para nku aning duha kay depende nana sa photographer oi! kung ngilngig ang photographer samot ka nindot ang quality sa picture!

@TS depende na na sa imo bro....if you ask me i'd go for D5000.. but ingon pa nila it's all about the photographer... skills over gears
