When I play 3D games on my PC, it started to hang. All of a sudden, I cant play anything without it crashing. Says it got some .dll problems. I cant turn on Direct 3D/DirectDraw in DirectX Diag. I reinstalled the Nvidia driver(am using GeForce 5700), and after reboot, it will just make the whole screen garbled and cant see nothing but a blurry screen. So I have to turn the video card off and rely on the onboard graphics(motherboard).
I thought that would solve the problem, and that my video card is busted. But when I restart, I get vertical lines all over the Windows XP loading screen. When I play 2D/3D games that the onboard video card can run, I still get vertical lines throughout the screen. The color of the text in BIOS(on startup) are distorted - mixed with white, bright blue, and such. So I guess its not the video card afterall.
Can anyone help?
BIG THANKS!
