Car tune up (engine, suspension, sound system, etc..)

hi guys, i'm new to cars and it would be very nice if you could help me gain more knowledge about it. especially when it comes to modifying/upgrading it. naka bili po ako ng honda civic, 2nd hand. i know it's not in perfect condition, but in good condition. i just wanted to know what are things that i should do to improve my engine's performance, suspension and all that.

to make this thread interesting, you could list your things on what you did to your car.

e.g.
a. changed to 4-1 header
b. changed to lowering springs
c. changed to CAI

things like that..

if you want performance

cheanging 4-1 from 4-2-1 will help..
change also the cold Air intake
Increase the ignition System
Lighten the car weight if possible apil ang driver hehehehe...
Stiffer suspension has better handling esp in cornering... Strut bar.. kana sa Engine Bay dapit
sa likod ug sa ilawm..
regaring sa lowering.. Coilover will help if sakto sa budget...if alanganin sa budget naa ghapon alternative ways ana....

i would suggest that you have to deal with your Engine first before touching anything else. when the Engine performs on its maximum performance, that's the time that you can start improving its outward look and other modifications.

Here are things that you need to modify to Maximize Engine Performance:

1. Ignition System- spark plugs (ZERO resistance), HTW (Zero resistance), Alternator, Coil, Battery, Ignition Enhancer - (Enhanced Ignition could burn almost 100% of fuel inside the combustion chamber)
2. Engine Oil- Look for GTO (it is an "Almost Zero Friction Engine Oil" that could protect the oil rings, cylinder walls and etc., Lowers engine temperature and gives more engine power)
3. AirFilter- Use the one that has Vortex Effect
4. Exhaust- Use the one that has Vortex Effect too.
5. Others....(maybe, some istoryans can add more here)

the gadgets for modification I mentioned above could be found at DAJ Autoshop only. They specialize "Maximum Engine Performance"

salamat sa mga inputs masters.. so far, ang nagawa ko pa lang sa kotse ko is, changed to 4-1 header (and i love it when Vtec roars), sad to say mahirap mag drive sa town, to many traffics.. i also changed my air intake to CAI (simota nga lang, will planning to upgrade it to something better someday). when it comes to suspensions, i only changed it into lowering springs (and yes, pilian na ako sa roads, hehe)..

for the engine, medyo satisfied na ako sa performance, pero i want more, sa susunod i think. i am concentrating now in my suspensions. i'd like to make it better.. sa ngayon, naka negative camber ung rear tires ko, i think its because of the lowering springs, so, i was thinking of putting it a rear camber kit.. or maybe lower arm control.. i dont know, i need more inputs pa about this..
