Default What is the fastest Nokia phone?

What is the fastest Nokia phone?
(Preferably Nokia. Other brands are welcome as well)

All these new 'hi-tech' Nokia phones seem to be really slow when it comes to basic menu navigation / texting. The e-series in particular is 'CRAWLING' slow. I'm the kind of person who wants to spend the least amount of time on my cellphone - not really into the look/colors/themes and whatever personalization and extra gadgets a cellphone has.

I am currently using a Nokia 6300, and I think it's okay in terms of speed, but I was wondering if there are faster phones? I don't really care how many megapixels its camera has or whether it's 3g/2g/8g blablabla... I just want a fast phone.

    Thanks.

I beg to disagree sir. I have a Nokia e75 and it is faster than my Nokia 5800xm. I mean, "CRAWLING" is a very far off description. Did you time it when you open messaging app and compared to other phones that you may consider "fast phones"? Or maybe compare it to your current 6300?

have 2 nokia phones the nokia x6 32gig and nokia e90
both are fast... though murag hinay hinay gamay ang e90 maybe because karaan na siya compare sa x6 but di pud mokamang sa kahinay oi...

maybe maong hinay na imong 6300 kay daghan na files sulod or naa virus imo phone... try to delete some files or ireformat...

I may have exaggerated my previous post. Okay, not crawling. Most new phone owners probably won't notice the speed difference anymore, but if you compare newer phones with older ones (like the 6300, even the prehistoric 3210), the newer ones are slow. The only 'upper hand' they have are the apps and gadgets which, ironically, contributes to the reduced performance.

Dili man hinay bro. Wa man koy blema sa akong 6300. Mura man gud kog na-stuck-up ani nga phone kay wala ko kauyon sa speed sa mga bag-o ron.

I would not even consider the X6 to be remotely fast, no offense.

its your opinion, your entitled to it... same as i dont consider samsung's high end phone as high end as the others, they look cheap for me... no offense meant...

I am using a Nokia 3120 Classic with Symbian 40 software. I am contented with the speed of this phone. The Nokia phones that are slow are mostly using the Symbian 60 software. This would be based on my observation from complaints of people and friends who are using them.

I would rather buy Nokia mid-end phones which are mostly Symbian 40 softwares unlike the Nokia high end phones which uses the Sybian 60 software interface and are slower.

Checked the 3120. Tagpila mani siya? Looks handy, and somewhat identical to the 6300.

I've never heard of Symbian before, probably because I've never really followed cellphone technology religiously. but I think we have the same sentiments. Mid-end phones seem to be outperforming high-end phones with the basics. Of course mid-ends don't have as much features, but if all you do on your phone is text and call, who really cares?
