Default The Country is the People, The People is the Country! - What r ur comments?

The Country is the People, The People is the Country!

    What are ur comments?

I say this is true. For one fact, try to look way back at our history during the aftermath of World War II. Japan & Philippines are both destroyed underground but look at the difference between these two countries now. Who do u think is more progressive?

Second majority fact... in the US, when a household needs fixing, Americans will learn to fix it themselves but we Filipinos hire a specialist (electrician, carpenter, etc...) to do the dirty work.

Third majority fact... is up to u fellow istoryans! Please share ur ideas...

Disclaimer: This thread is not intended to degrade our nationality but it's meant to challenge our fellow Filipinos for the betterment of our nation. Let's help each other! According to PNOY, "Maging Mabuting Pilipino!"

there is some truth in it man sab...

naa jud societies na tapulan.. naa pud societies nga kugihan.. i personally think tungod ni kay sobra ra kaayo ka blessed ang ato location mao ng relax ra kaau ta.. its not like we are in countries nga naa snow nga patay jud kung di mo trabaho..

i really dont blame corruption of public officials.. but i believe that the population itself is corrupted...

i hate to say it but it is obvious to all of us that we are contaminated with CRAB mentality...i find it very disturbing when someone is trying to pose some comments(here in istoria), it all goes the same...like running in circles or unsa ba!

its because most of us lives a life of mediocrity. we dont want to push ourselves to achieve the unachievable. we dont plan our future all we always think is now but we are exerting much effort to it. we are use to say bast mkakaon lng katulo sa usa ka adlaw. and how about if calamity or health issues comes. then what happens? the 3 meals are reduced to none. we always do things in short cut but not thinking of ways how to make life easier. we always talk and say bad things to others but not even checking iif its right and appropriate to do. sa daling istorya TAMAD ta.

Ask not what your country can do for you. Ask what you can do for your country.
