Would you still consider buying it, when it comes here in Phil

I'd rather wait till iPhone 5 next year. LOL. I think its a mistake releasing defects. Apple wont do that. 'Cause if they do that, they'll get screwed.

market strategist think otherwise man bai... it's release na.. and sooner or later it'll come to our shores..

problema lang maswertehan or ma demalasan kag palit ani.. for example.. mawala ang signal ig hold nimo sa imong palm.. from full bars to zero bars ang iyang signal... and to think.. this would cost im sure more than 20-30k when ma release na ni dire sa Pinas...

ang kapait pa jud.. d pa jud mo recognize ang APPLE nga depektoso ilang product.. bisag tataw ug klaro na jud kaau....

a few hours from now Apple will respond with " it's a feature by design",

remember the yellow screen on the 3Gs?
Apple said it was by design,
yet a firmware update ''fix' it.

iPhone 3G and firmware 2.0: the day after -- Engadget
Update: We just spoke with Bob Borchers, senior director of product marketing for the iPhone, and he had some very interesting info regarding the "yellow screen" phenomenon we've been hearing about. According to Bob (and Apple), the screen's color temperature has been purposely altered on the new iPhone to produce warmer, more natural tones, sharper images, and deeper blacks. The company says that 1st gen iPhone screens appeared colder and less defined, and they made some adjustments for the new models. In our opinion, what he says is right on -- the screens do look better on the iPhone 3G versus the older variety. What do you guys think?
iPhone Yellow Screen Issue Fix! - Mac Forums

Someone please sticky this or something, I had to make this post outside of that Larger Yellow Screen thread because I dont think anyone is Actually discussing the solution.

Here is the solution, pretty easy, Just might take a little bit depending on how big your iphone Data (music and vids etc etc) is.

Ok So! you're getting the Yellow Hint? I was as well.

I compared them both side by side, and mine was in fact more yellow then the original. Go to your Settings and you will notice that your firmware will be (5A345)

Just plug in your iphone to Itunes, then Run the "RESTORE" and it will update to the newer firmware (5A347)

When i got back in, the yellow Hew, Hint or whatever you want to call it, was gone.

    Hope this helps all.

well the yellow spot as apple claims will clear itself out when you use the phone more.. but what seems to be unacceptable.. is the loss of signal reception when you hold down your fone...

just a question.. how do you really hold it down diay ? (when using it)

    reviews quoted in GSMARENA:

"In this particular case what we don't like is Apple's attitude. Pretending such thing is not a big issue, saying it's a normal thing for a cellphone to lose signal, and not admitting a design flaw - that's arrogant. Fans will probably be willing to avoid holding the iPhone 4 that way. Being polite and confessing a wrong goes a long way. So does giving a bonus Bumper case to all affected. Just sayin'.
