Clarify Intel processor numbers and names

Can any body please clarify Intel processor names and numbers.

I've been looking at this laptop, which I think is assembled here in the Philippines,

It specifies Intel® Core™ Duo Processor T2050

Now I can't find anything about a T2050 processor in the intel site.

I also can't find any perdormance reviews because I don't know the processor name e.g. Allendale, conroe etc.

Anybody can clarify this?

2MB L2 Cache, 1.66GHz, 533MHz FSB

thats one the spec list, that should give you an indea that your going to look for a performance review of that kind of processor. from what i know the lowest core duo on the desk top is Intel 805D.

I cant seem to see any details on the RAM for that specific unit.

Its not a pentium D as they say, its supposed to be the next step to the pentium D
I can find the specifics like the
2MB L2 Cache, 1.66GHz, 533MHz FSB on several of the processors
but the processor # T2050 is nowhere to be found
I only see T2300, T2400, T2500, T2600, T 2700
I suspect it to be Yonah.

What do you think bai?
The features are nice beya for a 56T laptop with zero interest and 12 mo. to pay,
Plus pinoy made pa gyud, about time we supported our own

Pentium D is not Yonah..it's a Cedar Mill core in two processor package

i suspect it's only a typo..must be the T2500 to be exact.

thats what I thought too, but its in their brochures also aside from the website

The T2500 is 2.0 ghz, this one is only 1.66ghz
the closest is a T2300 which is 65nm, 2mb L2, 1.66ghz, ddr 667

If its the T2500 then for 56T, intel 945GM chipset, Intel GMA 950, 14" wide screen laptop, 512mb DDR2 and 80gb sata, 8x dvdrw,
FW, integrated webcam, bluetooth, Intel prowireless 3945 a/b/g, 12mos to pay with zero interest, I think its not bad deal at all.
I tried it sa silicon valley, windows XP media edition lang, nindot but daghang samok for my taste.

bai Joel..best way to find out about the real proc specs of this notebook is to install CPU-Z..try to have a copy of this utility in a USB/thumb drive and then install it on the unit.

dont ask for assistance from the sales rep para wala daghan samok =)

I thought of that btaw, na a man koy cpuz always on my thumb drive wala lang nako madala at that time.
