Default Upgrade options of Asus G60JX-RBBX05

hi po mga istoryans! i'm a little new to the "official" (-registered?) community pro dugay nko ngbrowse sa site for opportunities in the buying/selling area.

anyway, back to the topic... ngexpect ko mkadawat sa akong gi.order nga Asus G60JX gaming notebook straight from the U.S. (RBBX05 from Best Buy) within the week. if anyone owns/has owned or are familiar with this lappy, my question is kng pwde ba ni maupgrade ang RAM or Processor nya? i'm planning to replace the stock 1066mhz ddr3 RAM with 1333mhz ddr3 ones (would the performance boost be noticeable?). i've read mn gud sa Asus forums na dili dw "officially" supported ang upgrade but no straight answers from them or anyone with experience on upgrading it (at least non that i've found). nya in the future (if magraciahan ta ug wawarts...), plano ko ilisan ang 430m processor nya to 520m or 540m depende sa budget... so far puros ra mn heresay ang akng nadunggan with no confirmation... appreciate any input guys! oh and before i forget, see specs below direct from BB site for your reference:

    Asus - Laptop with Intel® Core™ i5 Processor - Blue/Black

    Model: G60JX-RBBX05 | SKU: 9736955

You could ask straight to ASUS for correct and accurate information. In my own opinion lang thats possible basta naay available slot sa RAM pero sa processor see the specifications and limitations sa mobo nimo.

actually, that's kinda the problem i'm having since Asus' support representatives haven't really given out straight answers regarding compatibility. based on a thread off of a different site from one of their members that actually contacted Asus by email, all he got was "As indicated in the specs, only 1066mhz ddr3 is 'officially' supported. note that the email doesn't really contain the ' ' around the word "officially" but i'm only doing that as a point of emphasis... so does it mean that "unofficially" i can just latch in a 1333mhz ddr3 RAM in there and expect it to run? nuon, i'll try to look up more details aning iyang mobo and see if supported ba gyud cya. any other inputs are also appreciated!

just dropped by SM Cyberzone earlier today and asked around all stores for possible answers sa akong question... so far i'm getting a lot of different responses (some educated and some obviously wlay mga alamag nga tubag). even asked directly from their ASUS shop and all they told me was "sir try lng check sa ASUS nga website if pwde ba or call their international support number". I've already tried the site and it doesn't specify if pwde so i might try nlng calling that number of theirs tomorrow... maybe i'll get an answer other than "unfortunately it's not 'officially' supported".

still hoping for any feedback from everyone else though...
