Senator Dick Gordon once told us that you have to prepare for disasters long before they ever arrive. I am applying this advice right now since Noynoy is currently leading in the initial election results.
In order to help other people out, I am listing down a number of things you have to prepare for in the coming months.
1. Prepare to grow your own food and stock up on non-perishable food supplies.
2. Look for old deep well pumps and see if they still produce water. Install water filtration and treatment systems that can be used to treat deep well water.
3. Prepare to produce your own fuel and power. Buy a generator that can run on diesel. Research on how to produce bio-diesel using used cooking oil.
4. Prepare to protect yourself and your family. Fortify your home. Buy a gun or several guns. Get trained on how to use a gun.
5. Buy a life-boat, preferably one with an aluminum hull.
6. Stock up on medicines.
7. Get survival training.
8. Apply for a US or Canadian Visa. If you have the money, try to migrate to a more progressive country or at least have a legitimate reason to stay in a more progressive country.
I am sure that there are other things that you can do to prepare for a Noynoy Aquino Presidency. If you have more ideas, please leave it as a comment on this post.
