Good day istoryans,
I have an existing dsl internet,pero what i wud like to know how do you make multiple accesspoint in one place kay ako wifi WRT54G nga wireless dli man maka abot dd2 sa layo na..dako man gud lugar pero ang mo gamit kay 2 -3 users lang..the impt. thing is maka abot ang signal dd2 pa sa layo..any device or setup guides to do this?what do i need to buy..tnx for the replies

multiple access points to broadcast or you need a wireless repeater? Sa akong pagsabot sa imong gusto is to have a repeater taht would be position sa lugar where the wireless signal is already low.

Let's say,

wifi source (WRT54G) > repeater 1
> repeater 2
> so on so forth.

if naa ka extra nga WRT54G (just check your version and specific model), you can flash it with DD-WRT firmware and use it as a repeater.

if you already have a wifi router then all you need to extend wifi coverage is to purchase an additional wifi access point (not necessarily a wifi router) then connect both devices using copper/utp cable. you need to set both devices with the same ssid and wpa keys. also assign distinct wifi channel per device. hope this helps.

naa ko router 1 wrt54g2 daun plano mi palit bago router wirelss gihapn .. pde nko maconnect ang doha ka router wirelessly?

well if you want it done without the hasle of cabling another access point to your dead spots, then you can use another wireless repeater... if linksys imo wifi you can use (WRE54G), mao na ako gamit...

depende pud sir if capable ba imo bago wifi router to acct as a wireless repeater... Netgear wifi routers can act as a repeater or an access point...

I don't know sa linksys if naa ba sila mga routers nga pwd sad wireless repeater...

if you have upgraded the FW of your router to DDWRT, then i suggest you just add a high gain wifi antenna to it to extend range. You have a 100mw unit now capable of up to 5km ptp. Or a highgain panel antenna would do, check out CBX sm main office they have it there.

cge salamat2x testing na nya ko upgrade nig palit namo bago router. btw unsa difference sa bridge og repeater? nag research nko pero ga libog ko.
