I know what is wrong with that Rabbit. We had a rabbit named Fluppy who had that same case of mite infestation. We took Fluppy to the vet hospital and its just too much mapaksi na gud nimo ang iyang skin. Poor bunny had been suffering a long time. It was a helpless case scenario that the vet suggested to just put him to sleep and end his suffering. The reason for that is mites infestation. Its because we never picked him up or took him out of the cage. Lack of care. We kept feeding him and cleaning the litter tray but we did not take the bunny out of the cage para maka stretch, etc. So it was Mites exactly how it looks in that picture. So gipatulog na lang si Fluppy. He was buried at Rainbow Bridge cemetery for Bunnies. Was so sad. Now we have Puddles...go to Photography thread. I posted Puddles picture there. Puddles is a holland lop breed bunny. So far a very healthy one unlike what happened to Fluppy.

were not really allowed to post as it would be considered advertising....but for those interested please pm me and i'd be more than happy to give you my contact numbers.. and if it is mites it is contagious to humans. but simple hygeine can prevent it.. such as washing of hands after handling the rabit..etc.
My rabbit is now about 2 years old. As far as maintenance, we clean her cage and the litter tray as often as possible. Bunnies do not really smell bad but needs constant emptying out and washing of the litter tray because their urine quite smells when accumulated. We buy the care fresh to line the litter tray and its good at absorbing fluids and smell. Our bunny lives indoors in a cage. So far, this is our 3rd pet bunny so we are getting experts in taking care of them. We have a very healthy bunny. We give our bunny special pellets with vitamins, clean water each day, treat snacks, and i love to give her bananas she loves it although i shouldn't give it everyday because of the sugar content in the banana it makes her fat and she already fat. We have a happy bunny. Bunnies are intelligent, very loveable and a very clean pet. In the winter months, they shed and hibernate during the day. At nite, very playful. I'll share a photo when i have a chance. Thanks. Share your rabbit care experience here too and what kind you have with pictures. I wanted a lionhead before but we got a holland lop instead.
