In simple terms, Sennheiser's CX 95 Styles are the best headphones I've listened to for under £100 by quite some distance. Ignore the slightly cheesy name and flimsy cabling, concentrate on the sound quality and you have a pair of headphones that offers incredible value for money.
These CX 95s pull off a difficult trick, balancing crisp detail with warm mids and thunderous bass in a way I haven't heard from any headphones approaching this price tag. If I had £100 to spend on a pair of headphones, these are the headphones I'd buy - I can't think of any better recommendation than that.
for sale sad cx 400-II @ 1.5k negotiable (1.5months used), cx 300 @ 1k slightly neg (6months used, i lost the large buds.. medium and small ra) both in perfect condition.
the cx 400 has an issue. ganina ra nahitabo. napislatan cguro sa akong laptop. it is still working but mukarat ang left speaker f lihok lihokon ang jack. but if dili ra hilabtan ok kaayo ang sounds. repricing it to 800pesos fixed. ok ra sad dili mahalin. pang extra nlng nko kay dili man sad always mukarat specially if nka higda or nka lingkod lng. try lng nko basin naa pa d i interesado..^_^
i will keep the cx400-II if ma una halin ang cx95 or vice versa.
