i became aware of this as i return to this country after having been away for quite some time. it is very common among corporate settings to hold christmas parties with an additional theme...like the one i was suppose to come but did not join...a Cowboy Christmas where everybody was required to look like American cowboys and cowgirls....

what is my point with this thread? to me, Christ is Himself the theme of christmas. Why need to dilute it with another? more fun and merriment? cmon...how bout taking that to another extreme...how bout Halloween Theme Christmas party? shud u be greeting happy halloween on christmas? fun isnt it? or to make the mockery more acerbic...Holy Week Themed Christmas...just the Filipino spirit of revelry?
