Harvesting Earth's Natural Heat and Cold Sources

I've been thinking about this for years and since people on this thread seemed quite informed in sciences, I'd just like to ask if it would be possible (or if it has been done already or is ongoing) to harvest the natural heat coming from our planet's deserts and bring them to naturally heat cold countries. The same thing for the natural Cold on the north and south poles being harvested to cool tropical countries naturally.

If you know of a project like this or any inputs would be very much appreciated.

I believe we have been harnessing those energies sources, hydropower from moving water currents, geothermal power from the Earth's hot magna, and also solar power. hehe! But the problem is efficiency. That is the main question, if you we can have 100% efficiency then we already have sufficient power. hehe! But regarding transferring heat to cooler countries and vice versa, its not that its impossible but it would probably cost most energy than the heat energy you are trying to divert. If we even do it, it will have profound effects on our planet's atmospheric cycle and climate. Who knows, what damage it could cost. hehehe! That is why we Filipinos love the heat and Russians love the cold! hahaha!
