Kaya ra na' basta nindot lang imong PSU.

I have an actual wattage meter... ang actual wattage draw gikan sa outlet di man gani mu abot ug 300watts on full load. Apil na na' ang monitor nako, videocard.. etc.

@personalmgt: How could say its end of thread that I need more ideas from others and opinion as well.

Im doubtful that 500W PSU HEC cant be enough as I calculated from asus wattage calculator so then I need to make it sure before buying what PSU that could support enough.

    Need more opinion guys. Thanks

Sorry I haven't really read the original post. But here it goes.

If you really want to make sure that its enough, adding that you need numbers and stuff, you can read the link below:

How to: Convert between Watts, Amps and Volts. - Overclock.net - Overclocking.net

But of course, that includes looking for technical documents to some parts of your system. Tendency with Online PSU wattage calculators are that they become inconsistent. Over time, companies release new products that do not have the same electricity specifications.

I'm saying its enough because in my experience and with some feedbacks from friends, a 500w PSU can already do a lot more than what your planned system could do. And as what I have read in some forums, if you just want a decent rig with no overkill, a 500w is enough. A 750w-800w is already overkill and is only recommended if you go SLI.

I agree 100%... bisag unsaon nimog calculate... estimate ra gyud gihapon na' There are other variables involved such as the efficiency of your PSU over varying temps... pero 500w is really a big cushion given your hardware specs...

ALso, when dealing with videocards and SLI/CF, its not really the total wattage of the PSU but the Amperage sa 12v rails....

9800/8800GT is a relatively energy efficient videocard...

Just to give you an idea,

I had an 8800GT running on a 400w PSU, 2xWD Raptor in Raid 0 and a 3rd hdd, on an overclocked X2 3600+, with a soundcard pa and lots of devices pugged in sa USB.

Don't worry bout ur setup bro.. kaya ra gyud kaayo na'

If you want your peace of mind or you're particular about energy consumption sa imong pc... better get katong newer Phenom II X4 nga more energy efficient and get a 5850 instead of the 9800gt and use the WD Green Power Drives.

@personalmgt: Maybe you're right bro... mao bitaw wonder ko nga di man daghan kaayo akong mga hardware parts di pud high end why pag calculate nako sa wattage dako man kaayo. Well thanks anyway

@vipvip68: Thanks pud bro now I have an idea nga 500W would be enough. Thanks
