u need a ROUTER bro, not a HUB/SWITCH to share your internet... unless the modem provided by ur ISP is routing enabled...
HTH
adsl2+modem router ako gamit then switch, dili jud na pwede? ho come ang usa ka laptop naa man sya connection?
yup, modem+router na mostly padala sa ISP.. but kasagaran if only configure as BRIDGE mode aron 1 pc ra pwede makagamit.
what IP are you getting from the modem/router sa imo pc? if its something 192.168.xxx.xx then enabled ang routing sa modem... if its something else, then u definitely need to enable routing sa ila modem or buy a separate router...
just to add. the reason most IPS modem/routers are configure only for 1pc is because when routing is enable in their modems it causes lots of problems like frequent disconnections....
192.168.xxx.x bro...
akoa gi-try na i remove ang usa ka laptop then ang usa lang ang naka connect kay limited connectivity jud japun cya,
-but pag ang usa na vista ang os wa blema,,tried it with both wires....
-grabe,,kapoy naku dah,,,hehehe
are your computers setup-up to obtain or imo gi manual pagbutang imo ip add...
try changing the "speed and duplex" of your win xp machine to "10mb half duplex" (the wording may be different depending on the NIC)... go to your NETWORK CONNECTIONS window and right click on your LOCAL CONNECTION icon then hit PROPERTIES. then hit CONFIGURE then go to ADVANCE tab... look for SPEED AND DUPLEX then change it... make sure to click OK all the way out....
