Default Are environmentalists good or bad for Cebu?

    Check this editorial out

Take the case of Cebu. If the uncompromising pseudo environmentalists would have their way, they would shut down all coal-fired power plants this coming Sunday, while God is resting, and never mind if we all get transported back to the Stone Age.

    I like this quote!!!

In other words, true environmentalists are practical. They know they cannot change the mistakes and shortcomings piled up over the centuries in a click of a finger. They know the world will end some day but not necessarily this Sunday. So we still have time.

without environmentalists you will end waking up without a dry land on your back. we need them to control the excesses of society and unabated development.

Some environmentalists make sense, while some don't.

Some environmentalists work to protect the environment in the true sense, while some do it to enrich themselves (lobbying, hidden funding channels, etc.).

have they asked themselves how will the city be powered? they can rally all they want but i still want the electricity to watch porn thru the net.. hahahhaha. seriously.. energy is a basic comodity these days.. how will the electric pumps and filters that provide us with water supply operate without electricity?

im an environmentalist man but i dont think those guys are doing their part.. how bout they practice green architecture and engineering.. being an environmentalist is a balance between what is economically feasible and what produces less waste..

im up for sustainable development and planning.. that includes a controversial family planning.. the more people, the more wastes dba? and for the development of outlying areas to redistribute wealth and industry and people..
