i dont want to make a judgement on how customer service is done in the philippines, but why have my experiences been so bad. to be honest, i have yet to have a decent encounter with a customer service rep
just today, i caught DHL in lie and all they guy could say was that he was sorry and he would have someone call me....which, well never happened and when i called back, they wouldnt pick up the phone, even though they stated that it was during their operating hours.
so i know me stating that i caught DHL in a lie would suffice and im sure some people would want the story so here it goes (if can care less than you can just skip to the bottom :P)
anyway, i have my friend order something from amazon.com in the us. he shipped it here directly using DHL, unfortunatly amazon does let you choose the courier, they choose it for you.
so i get the email stating that it should be here in cebu between the 12-14. i decided to track it and it did arrive in cebu on the 11th (however it was a sunday and it was late at night) so i figure that my item was going to be delievered by the 12th (yay actually on time)
well the 12th comes around and since i didnt want to miss the shipment i called DHL in manilla (cause i couldnt find a number for the cebu branch), they took down my number so that the cebu office can call me with the necessary "requirements."
so no phone call for the entire day (12th), next comes tuesday the 13th. i called again to find out what was going on and they told me someone will call me back.....tuesday night....nothing
so this happens for the rest of the week, someone promises to call me and no one ever does. i think 5 working days is sufficent.
i didnt call on saturday or sunday because i was out of town...however my cell phone was with me the whole time.
so i call again monday..nothiing...i called again today and specifically asked for the cebu branched cause my patience is wearing thin.
i talk to an individual and he tells me that there was a "return to origin" order from amazon and that they had to wait for a response directly from amazon. hung up the phone, but it didnt really sit well with me...
reason why i thought it was weird is because why would amazon request for it, the item has been payed for and they wont release and shipped it until the cc is approved.
so i call a amazon.com customer service rep and i told them the situation about the "return to sender order" they said they never issued the order and that when the item is shipped, thats it, it shipped. the lady (who was from manilla) was actually pretty helpful but the line was lost....stupid vonage..
so i called again and i get a different customer service rep and they tell me the same thing (there was no order of return of my package.)
once i got off the phone with amazon, i directly called DHL and told the person that there was no such order. he told me that his boss would be the one to answer and that he would call me back...guess what...he never called back
so i ask you istorya, what can i do next
where is the DHL hub so i can go there directly
