    Question Lexmark JobFair @Waterfront

    Who among you joined LRDC's jobfair last Oct. 16-17? I was kinda consfused with the way how things went because I was only interviewed twice and I noticed that there were no exams. THen, the interviewer just told me that they will call me and to be patient and wait for the call. Now, for those who are already working at LRDC, what does that normally mean? Is that their polite way of telling you that you did were not good enough or are they really seriously gonna call you? I am just quite consfused.. Please enlighten me.. for those who applied you can share your experience as well.

    Thanks!

    i have call center experienced for almost 4 years now...

    there's a lot of positions man... they will screen you for diff positions kung asa ka fit. that's why ang uban 3 times g-interview, they were screened for r&d, sales and marketing, service etc. most of us are told to wait for their call. so, let's just wait and look for other jobs as well.

    dugay ang application process sa lexmark that's why they tell you folks to BE PATIENT in waiting for a call from them. Lexmark is not a typical call center nga paspas ang hiring ky paspas pd ilang attrition rate. it's not like that at all. if you really feel that you did not do well on the interview, then why not look for another while you wait. in that way you wont have an idle time.

    @kit_cebu

    when it comes to call center experience, it's not about the years that they are after.. it's all about technical skills and being competitiveness. i have friends there who were my officemates as well from a different call center and they had less than a year of experience, were call center virgins as well at that time. but when they applied at Lexmark, they were hired...

    sorry to contradict ha pero i don't think na what they told us was an indirect way of rejecting us. cz ang wa madawat, ila man gyud giingnan na wala sila kaabot sa qualifications. and it wasn't a waste of my time kay i know i tried. at least i tried... the bravest move any1 can do.

    @esprugodoys: karemember sad ko na ila ko giingnan og please (as in giprolong ang please) be patient to wait for our call. mao na ila ingon sa akoa. as in sa 3 interviewers gyud nako.

    ang isa kay murag bago pa man to na HR murag wa sya kabalo sa iyang gibuhat, mura pa gani syay nkulbaan kesa sa akoa.

    ang 2nd level interviewer na gyud ang ngemphasize sa please be patient to wait for ur call til november. then gibalik npud niya before ko nilakaw na be patient lang gyud daw ko. so patience is a virtue akong bag-ong motto karon.
