if your internet is for browsing only. try allowing HTTP,HTTPS, and DNS on router/firewall and block all other ports/services

Limewire uses tcp/udp ports 6346 to 6347. You can block these ports to deny access to/from limewire. Access your router from the browser by keying in the router's default IP address on the address bar.

Once you're logged in, click Access Restrictions, go to Blocked Services and click Add/Edit Service then Ports Service screen will appear. You are now going to create a new service name. Enter 'limewire' and choose TCP & UDP for protocol. Enter 6346 and 6347 for the range. Click Add. Click Apply then Close.
