    Default Homemade Dog Food/Treats Recipes

Recipe 1: Daily Meal (taken from: http://dogtraining.kerman.com/recipe.html/ modified by: ME )

Vegetables: Carrots, Squash, Cabbage, Radish, Brocolli, "sayote" (ambot unsa english ana), Tomatoes, Mushrooms or any vegetable u can find but please omit those that are known to cause itchiness. (Choose only 5 veggies and mince, if in a tight budget just use 3 and adjust the quantity)
Meat: Chicken, Pork, Beef or Fish (choose 1)
    Cooked Rice

Few drops of canola oil or vegetable oil, season lightly or u can just add a small amount of minced ginger.

**Bring to boil 1/2 cup of water. Add meat. Cook for 15minutes and then add vegetables, simmer for another 10 minutes. Remove from flame and let cool.
**Add in rice and mix/mash together.

Ratio of vegetables: meat: rice= 1:1:1

so for example: for every meal u feed ur dog 1 cup, then the ratio will be 1/3c meat: 1/3c veggies: 1/3c rice

    1. Cook pasta (see package directions)
    2. Fry bacon in a small amount of oil. drain excess oil and set aside.

Recipe 3: Basic Omelet Recipe for Dogs (for humans too.. )

a good way to start ur dog's day...

    Ingredients
    6 eggs
    Salt
    Ground black pepper
    6 tablespoons non salted butter
4 tablespoons cooked chopped meat, chicken, fish, or grated cheese

Beat eggs well in a large mixing bowl with a fork or whisk for 40 seconds. Mix in the salt and pepper to taste.

Melt the butter in a frying pan over medium heat. Pour eggs into the frying pan when you see that the butter is brown. Mix the eggs for a little and then cook. Use a spatula to avoid the eggs from sticking to the frying pan. The eggs are done when you see that they are creamy on the top, but not runny anymore.

Put the meat over the omelet with a spoon. Tilt the pan and fold the omelet into half. Slide the omelet onto a plate and serve right away.

    Makes 2 large omelets.

    Recipe 4: CHEESY SAWDUST

    Ingredients:

    1/4 k meat sawdust
2 small slices of cheese (diced or shredded)
1 tsp canola or any vegetable oil

Heat 1 tsp of oil in a saucepan, add meat saw dust and cook for 10 minutes. Add half of the diced/shredded cheese. Cook for another 10 minutes or so and then add the remaining half of the cheese. Turn off the fire but continue mixing till cheese is spread evenly. You may store it in airtight containers and should be kept in the refrigerator if not consumed for no more than 2 days.

Good to mix with dry dog food/kibbles.
