No one knows... it's either a weak draft or pareha lang jud ug potential and mga prospects.

If Toronto knows unsa jud para sa ila, i think it's gonna be Brandon Roy. Bosh is, i think, comfortable already in the C spot, so is Villanueva (PF).

Aside from Andrea Bargnani, we have:

    Saer Sene, F/C, Senegal

Scouts were impressed with this guy from Senegal, the 7'0 Saer Sene. He's got a 7'8 wingspan and has no problem with rebounding and blocking. He's tough and raw, has a great potential and is improving quickly (that's what the scouts were saying). He weighs a decent 235 lbs and is a menace in the defensive position. No too much hype though, this guy is projected from #15-20 in the draft. He'll be great from the bench and should develop, well, at least 1-2 years in the NBDL.

    Thabo Sefolosha, GG, Italy

Critiques and scouts are falling in love with him (i guess, they're gays). Ilaha ra sad na. Well, they watched him play and Thabo is considered as a streaky shooter, either from the 2pt line or the 3pt line. A player who can outhustle almost anyone, give plays that can't be seen in the stats and can defend. Mao na ingon sa scouts, that's what they always say when they want to be optimistic. Okay man cguro ni cya kay he's projected to be in the middle-late first round. And he's available in the #9 Warriors' list.

    Sergio Rodriguez, PG, Spain

If somebody owns a pick ranging from #20-30, and they need a true PG, Sergio owns that. He's got a wide court vision, passing abilities and is a natural for a run-and-gun team (i can hear Phoenix tapping on this guy). Of course, he's a traditional point guard, pass-first-PG and can also knock down a jumper. But he needs to sharpen his defensive skills and decision making. Projected middle first to middle 2nd round.

Other notables: Oleksiy Pecherov (PF, Ukraine), Joel Freeland (Pf, England),

my guess is as good as everyone else's.. there's just no clear cut no. 1 in this year's draft, it's a class without a concensus. it's really up to Toronto on which route they'll take. it's either this year's batch doesn't have a marquee player who's got the potential of saving a franchise ala Lebron or maybe everyone up top has similar/comparable talents. Andrea Bargnani, LaMarcus Aldridge or Brandon Roy.. once again, your guess is as good as mine.

They already have Rasho on the C after a trade recently which involved Matt Bonner and Eric Williams... They need a PG, SG and SF. So, it boils down to Brandon Roy, Rudy Gay, Adam Morrison or a shooting 7'0 Andrea Bargnani.

yeah I know, but there's just something wrong with how Toronto has been wheeling and dealing in the past. I'm guessing they will screw it up again this time. they're not bottom dwellers in this league for nothing.. they still have to prove that they know what they're doing as far as draft picks, trades and the like goes.. let's just cross our fingers that they won't do anything crazy with their no. 1 pick.

Colangelo hired Gherhardini, Barghnani's Gm in Treviso...
But Bosh liked Aldridge.. either way, the frontline will really be tall... two 7 footers and bosh at 6'11...
one problem they have right now is Mike James...
Since the Bulls already "promised " T.T...

Alrigde might end up with Bobcats.....a very solid Unit...

    Okafor, Brezec, Alridge, Wallace, Felton...

and they will re LB and replace Bernie, who had a losing record dating from washington...

here's a very interesting take on this 2006 NBA Draft:

NBA draft could turn out bad for business
    Ian O'Connor / Special to FOXSports.com
    Posted: 12 hours ago

David Stern gets his dream draft Wednesday night, a lottery devoid of high school kids who represent complete strangers to your garden variety sports fan. Stern gets a night of prospects developed and marketed by his cherished minor league system — major college basketball — free of NBA charge.

So no Andrew Bynums or Travis Outlaws or Martell Websters, no junior high social breaking out on the big New York stage. But no LeBron Jameses or Kobe Bryants or Kevin Garnetts, either.

This was supposed to be good for business. This was supposed to allow the NBA to reconnect with all those consumers put off by the young and restless fastbreak from the prom to the pros.

Only it isn't playing out that way, not even close. In fact, the 2006 NBA draft suffers a severe crisis of relevance. There are no Shaquille O'Neals or Tim Duncans to be found at the top.
