Playing DVD's on DVD ROM w/out sound

guys... any idea unsaon pag solve ani?? kong ipa play nako ang DVD sa mga dvd player ok ra cya.. pero kong adto nako i play sa DVD rom.. kay mawala iya sound.. naa mo nahibaw-an nga progy?? or other player perhaps?? ako na suwayan na player kay.. WMP,MPC,VCL,POWERdvd,DivX...

I've noticed that when playing DVD ( using VLC and PowerDVD ) and volume level niya grabi ka dropped. as in akong mp3's are already screaming pero sa DVD you can hear a thing so i need to max out my speakers volume and soundcard.

just go to VLC's Equalizer option and then adjust all buttons to Maximum
