    Default Wireless or Wired LAN

    Which is better wireless or wired LAN?

    any suggestion about wireless G and N? G has only 54mbps and N has 300mbps max. I dont really know about wireless routers.. anyone can share their ideas?

    Is wireless router and card that is 108mbps faster than wired 100mbps? If im going to use Wireless N, so i need to buy PCI or USB that is N standard too? so that i can use 300mbps connection?

    what's the diff between 54mbps and 108mbps or 300mbps? does these speeds slow down your internet connection? or just the file transfer speed?

    for house use ra diay ni ky 4 ka PC dri dn katag2 amo mga PC..samuk mn mga LAN cable...

    Dipendi rana bro kung unsay gamitan nimo, Kung imong router is N dapat imong NIC/USB Wifi kay N pud, if router nimo is N then NIC/USB wifi nimo kay B/G automatic rana mo switch, pero if router nimo kay G then NIC/USB wifi is N, G ra dyud na iyang speed. Kana for file transfer rana, kay imong internet connection kay 385kbps ra diay or 1MB so layo ra gihapon sa 54mbps and 108mbps or 300mbps.

    Remember walls can affect your WiFi signal and quality. If you go for N routers ok rana.

    just imagine them as highways:

    54mbps = 2 lanes
    108mbps = 4 lanes
    300mbps = 6 lanes

    which do you think has the faster transfer rate?...

    im not saying do the wireless set up either but if you want a more secure network u should go for wired..

    It's mobility/convenience vs speed/reliability. Your choice to make. I don't see why you can't have the best of both worlds.

    Wireless N is not as reliable as the G. Sometimes the N would drop most of the time. But I think manufacturers today are really improving on the reliability of the N.
    If were talking about N signal the compatibility depends between the router and wireless n card. In other words if you want N signal to be more reliable get a wifi adapter that has the same brand as the wifi router.

    if you have a desktop I recommend pag wired nalang. Since wifi are meant for laptops internet mobility anyway.
