Default Case fan orientation for gaming rig.

What is the proper case fan orientation in a gaming pc?

    2 intake Fan. 2 exhaust

I read an article on this sauna. I think it was sa toms hardware. They experimented with different fan layouts sa system from rear fans, side fan, top exhaust, front intake etc....and measured the temps in diff parts sa case.

If I remember correctly, I was shocked to find out that the configuration with the lowest temps was with an exhaust fan sa back and the psu fan out the top.... in other words, negative pressure pulling air into the case worked more than positive airflow pushing air in from the front.

running both seemed to create turbulence and made the system inefficient.

@bhogs: my current set up is intake=exhaust. its always gud to have fresh air flowing within and through your case. but it will also depend on the components inside. so its best that you experiment on the best setup that will suit your rig.

sometimes man gud we put a lot of fan without taking into account ang air flows. for example, if u have lots of fan sa front, and u have bays almost right where muagi ang fan, ang volume sa air would always follow ang contour sa inside sa case, which means u might end up having gaaway nga air creating sort of turbulence sa sulod, instead of one-way ticket nga ride sa air..

sa akoang pagsabot, u should devide ang airflow sa case to 2, one is procie side, other is pcie or slot sides..
