DP35DP ako board
E6600 processor (E2140 ako old proc)
ang ako problem kay madetect sa BIOS is 1.6Ghz which is kato E2140 nako sauna then ako giFlash ang BIOS na detect na nya ang 2.4Ghz kaso after nimo sya ma Off balik napud sya sa 1.6Ghz...
sa XP OS ang mogawas is 1.6Ghz then sa Windows 7 kay 2.4Ghz...
dont know unsaon nako ni... hehehe

its very common for Conroe Processors with EIST enabled to drop their respective multipliers as a means to slow down processor speed. Usual value is from default multiplier down to 6. E6600's default multiplier is 9 with a 266 FSB, giving you the clockspeed of 2.4GHz. Suppose the multiplier drops to 6; 6 x 266 = 1596 rounded off would get you 1.6 GHz. don't worry, this isn't a problem but a power saving feature. try to run some programs while you have CPU-Z opened up and you'll find the frequency jump back to the original speed.
you can disable it in the BIOS if you don't like your frequency jumping around.
