Para unsa ning UTP Patch Panel?
diha iterminate ang pikas end sa cable sa imo i/o ports. from the patch panel, you can connect your i/o ports to the switch with the use of a patch cable. its kinda looks like this:
i/o ports (wall socket) -> lan cable -> patch panel -> patch cable -> hub/switch/router
unsay may advantage mag gamit aning patch panel? as what mazimbo here ask, ngano dili nalang e deretso connect ang mga utp?
having a patch panel offers flexibility and a cleaner setup.
it's easier to re-arrange the switches or move them.
all you need is a custom length patch cable from the patch panel to the switches.
would really look ugly and messy if you have hundreds of cables hanging from the ceiling or wall if you don't have a patch panel.

with patch panel you can easily manage the wiring closet/telecom cabinet - cable management
patch panel is not necessary in small LAN setup. in this case, you can plug your network cable direct to your network switch.
