    Default "unable to load operating system" nga error


    guys ask lang ko kung ngano maning mogawas mani nga error sa pc sa akong classmate...
    bag-o paman na-format iyang pc unya ang gi-instol nga windows kay dili man pod corrupt kay proven and tested na to sa ubang pc nga na-instolan.

    akong gi-search sa google ni nga error ang naa didto kay kinahanglan kuno nga i-update ang bios.. mao ni nga site What is "Error Loading Operating System"?...


    galibog lang ko kung ngano nga sa kadugay na nga gi-instolan ug xp ang iyang pc karon pa man nanginahanglan ug update ang bios kay di lagi kuno siya ka-communicate sa operating system...

    please lang explaini ko ninyo aning butanga kay galibog pod ko sa problem sa pc sa akong classmate...

    pls experts diri sa istorya give me your ideas...

    nakahuman ug instol sa xp?

    yes : try touching the mch, is it too hot?

    no : memory | IDE cable

    in fact, nagamit na gani to nila ug 1 week cguro after gi-format...
    den mikalit ra ug gawas to nga error..

    iyang hdd kay sata ang gamit..
    unsay buhaton nako ani bro?

    basin naa sila na hilabtan sa bios.
    Load default settings daw..

    basin sa bios na bro..double check also the cables.na-try na nimo balhin ang hd sa laing pc?..kay basin hd problem na (bad sectors,etc).

    set the bios. >advance > sata > native
    > sata raid function > disable

    change the sata cable.

    fix the hdd power cable

    worst thing:

    crashed drive c: partition

    try daw reformat balik

    your MBR might have been corrupted.

    how big is the hdd?
    try to reformat (not quick format), partition, and install XP into 2nd partition.

    sakto ni..basin sa cabling lang bro. kay sa ako experience, ang power cabling rman diay ang guba sa ako..hehe

    try pud using multitesters sa power cables, if sakto nga 12 and 5 volts ang ila supply.

    hdd is 160 gigabyte,, wa man daw silay gihilabtan sa settings sa bios...
    i'll try your suggestions guys, kay wa pa nako matan-aw ang situation sa iyang pc..
