I got it as an email from my best friend in New Zealand. Whether there's some truth to it or not I was deeply interested cause a son of mine died at the age of 17. He lived in another city with relatives. There was a big party for him and I guess he had too much to eat & drink - AND he doesn't drink at all. He died in his sleep and they told me it was bangungot. I don't know if he had eaten noodles though that night but I'm pretty sure he had been drinking and that's something he's not used to.
Just thought some people would be interested in this topic too. Maybe we should just refrain from eating noodles and also drinking /eating too much right before bedtime. It does make sense cause noodles really does absorb a whole lot of water.

usually the people who succumbed to hemorrhagic pancreatitis are not the habitual drinkers. spicy foods & those 'rich' in taste have been cited as causative but these have only been probable lang...

OT: i am sorry for ur loss... i have offered prayers for him.
