mga istoryans? unsa man nga ram akoa pwede paliton ani? P5SD2-VM nga motherboard? wanting to upgrade ug 1 gig nga ram. and also hardisk nga 160 kay 80 sata man guro ni.... help me fellow istoryans... Thanks daan...

DDR2 PC800 and above RAMS dili na pwede sa imo mobo... your mobo is just limited to DDR2 533/667.

wait be sure to obtain the same RAM brand, same capacity & same type para walay problema.

example: 2 X 1GB PC667 DDR2 Kingston DS - Double Sided or SS- Single Sided.

pag ma open nimo imo pc remove the ram thats already installed. then buy a ram that has the same capacity, frequency and brand sa nka install na daan.

you can also use different brand, but just the same capacity and same type.

For added info, I never had a problem using a 1 GIG ram and 512mb ram as long as it is of the same type but same capacity and type much better.

as what i noticed is pwede man magamitan ug higher frequency nga memory kit. the thing is it will only run at your motherboards supported frequency. for example if your going to buy a 2GB kit dual channel memory running at 800mhz if you install it on your mobo it will be underclock to the memory frequency your motherboard can support... my uncle have the same mobo that you have. he borrowed my Team Xtreem Dark dual channel DDR2 PC6400 and its now running underclock at 667mhz memory frequency. i suggest if your going to buy a memory kit with a higher frequency your motherboard can support better test it b4 you buy.. hangyo lang gud diri sa mga fellow istoryan nga namaligya.. since daghan man mga barato nga high end memory kit gipamaligya diri... sayang sad kaayo kung dili ma testingan dibha...

Ang limit sa mobo maoy ra iya sundon kay DDR2667 man of course diha ra jud kutob iya support. Pero I doubt nga di na cya mo boot if youre using above DDR2 PC800 RAM.
