    Unhappy Intel D946gzab mobo audio problem with Vista OS

    hey dudes i got an intel d946gzab mobo dn i want to switch to Vista ultimate edition 32bit but when i finished installing the OS ang audio nya kinda distorted man murag alien kng mo play ug music what seems to be the prob? ang ako mobo naa xa built in audio using sigmatel audio codec.. plz.. .give me your ideas as soon as possible..tanx in advans...Godbless us all...

    reinstall the audio driver.!

    use the chipset driver [ifur using the built-in] not the driver from microsoft!

    try mo lang!

    yes ako nana g.try bro dba naa manay cd nga installer sa mobo mao na xa nga audio driver sigmatel..b4 nako g.install ang OS nga vista ako g.uninstall ang kanang sigmatel nga audio driver dn pag human na nko install sa vista na ako napud g.install ang sigmatel nga audio codec..

    wat u tink do i have to buy a soundcard jud not the built in? di ba ok raman lay souncard nga e.install anyway naa man koy onboard...?

    Check your audio settings basin taas ra kaayo imong playback sampling rate mao na murag chipmunks ang sound.

    1. install vista driver for you mobo. try the intel website. they probably have 1.

    2. if you plan to buy a new soundcard, make sure it's vista ready. by "ready" i mean, it has vista drivers for it. Old CreativeSB soundcards does not have vista drivers, and they dont plan to make one. (or so i hear). Daniel_K, Who Fixed Creative's Broken Vista Drivers, Speaks Out | Gadget Lab from Wired.com

    1 gig man ako ram i think its enough ra dn ako processor is dual core E5200 2.5G.. but naa koy nabasahan over the net nga ang sigmatel daw nga audio codec which i am using ryt now doesnt support sa vista wat u tink mga bro tino.od kaha mao cguro usa rizon?

    try this.. right click sa "My Computer ---> select Manage---> then Device Manager, select the sound, video and game controllers.. the select the audio device, right click then "update driver".. make sure naka insert imo CD driver sa imu optical drive...
