    Lightbulb PHOTOGRAPHY STUDY GROUP: Workshops and Activities

    This is an in-depth two day workshop that gets you grounded
    in the basics of photography.

    If you want a photographer mindset to understand light, camera,
    exposure, and creating exceptional photos then this is it!

    Wall-to-wall lessons and activities from start to finish... this is boot camp

    Learn how to:

    • better understand the secret magic of light and your camera
    • learn how to:
      • balance aperture, shutter speed, and iso
      • exposure workflows
      • measure light
      • manual exposure

    • keys to creative composition
    • understand the lens and perspective
    • understand ambient light & flash photography
    • photo editing basics... when all else fails how to fix it

    Culminates with a model shoot in a different light

    Requirements:

    • digital camera capable of manual control whether it be prosumer/bridge or dSLR... this workshop is not brand or model specific
    • the willingness to learn and have fun
    • pen or pencil

    Many of these students have gone on to be become successful photographers in their own right!

    Rate is 3,000 pesos per person which covers lessons, handouts,
    model fee, and food (lunch, snacks, and drinks)

    Venue for workshops is Jon Unson studio...

    yup... thanks! manu was with one of my first groups and went
    from basic all the way to the advance courses.

    we later had an exhibit and show at the Waterfront Lahug Casino

    funny thing is that most of the people who start out just have basic point&shoots

    then as they go on with the different courses they're suddenly wielding dSLRs

    from what time to what time ni cya bro? interested here but id want to know first f i can fit this in my schedule. and if i may ask, what does the basic workshop cover? im a newbie with a dslr..so far, just self taught lang, from going through the threads in the photography section of istorya, surfing the net and reading books and magazines.
