Yup nindut sad gyud ang leopard geckos, kung ka afford palang ko mag pet sad ko gecko hehehe but my two dragons are heavy eaters karun, gasto sad lolz! Do you have one sir? An LG?

I agree bro! LGs and BDs are 2 lizards that will make fine pets indoors. Di pa ko ka-afford sa BD and upkeep requirements for now. i would really love to have a pair of these dragon-looking creatures one day.

For now, focus ko with my nocturnal LGs. below is a photo of Grecko the Gecko...my Hi-Yellow Normal Morph LG

@dirk14...bro, the local T you gave was molting last night. unfortunately, it wasn't able to complete its molt. i think due to old age na din. nigawas na unta ang iyang new carapace. it was already stiff & lifeless this morning.

pero if I were to care for a reptile.. lizard (type) 1st choice would be a veiled chameleon next would blue tongued skinks nya savannah monitor. pero can't lng gyud coz of my baby unya na kng mag elementary nah..

@dirk, I have been researching a lot about it and more or less safe ragyud, even if you lick the lizard pa diretly gamay rakaayo ang change ma contaminate ka with salmonela. Mas dako pa chance nga maka kuha kag salmonella from eating raw salads.

Make sure to wash your hands before and after handling and you will be safe. Do not let your children handle if you think they cannot be responsible enought to wash there hands before and after. Keep there viv clean, if kita kag feces clean it right away, dont let them walk all over it, if they do, give them a warm bath, dali rana matang tang sa ilang scales/skin.

yep I read abt about it too.. but still not wiling to risk it... almost had my hands on a veiled chameleon then but had to let it pass.. in time basin heheh

Chameleons are quite tricky to keep, especially in the way you offer them water. We had both Panther chameleon and veiled chameleon in our facility but both didnt last long. They dont drink stagnant water...must be dripping or flowing. Terrariums wont do as well as they need a flow thru cage, where air can pass through (microclimating is a no no). a sudden change in diet can also be fatal on their part...indigestion. We only had them for 6 mos. We currently have an adult blue tongued skink and it seems to prefer moving food items than fruits and veggies. Among our leopard geckos....nothing still beats our young super tangerine.
