-Avenged Sevenfold (I went to their first concert for Sounding of The Seventh Trumpet, been a fan since)
-Trivium
-Machine Head

Atreyu? I do not know that there is a band named after this white giant flying dog from the movie "The Never-ending Story" hehehe. Now I know.

Anyhoo, I like Lacuna Coil, Killswitch Engange, Cradle of Filth, Morbid Angel, Apocalyptica, Kittie, Iron Maiden and many more!!!!

y'gotta be kiddin' me.come on!how can you say that?these bands represent an element of metal,at least(metalcore/christian metal/nu-metal/goth/so on...i hate pigeon-holing by the way.)i dont really dig the early thrash days,i was more into grunge and the pumpkins back then...

no offense to all metal purists out there.But,i dont dig "old school metal" and I am not lingering in the "nu-metal" era also,which by the way passed along with the news of an alleged fred durst *** videotape (eww!gross!)

i'm still sticking with these bands i like.i'm also proud to say that slipknot got a first Grammy Award, in the category of "Best Metal Performance", for "Before I Forget" from 2004's "Vol. 3: (The Subliminal Verses).these guys are sic!dont pay attention to their masks!FYI!
