    Exclamation PROBLEM: Buffallo Ministation -External HDD- "Not recognized"


    my brother's ext usb hdd can't be recognized by our PC n laptop

    it didn't have problems a week ago. he uses it at work, so im not really sure wat he has done to it

    maybe your pc disable USB, check out your USB port.

    Disassemble the enclosure and try again and let see what is the effect. I think something wrong w/ the power cord. Try

    it aint an enclosure... no power cords just a USB cord

    dnt know how to check it... pro if sak2 ako pgThink if guba ang usb chord dli unta mo msg ang windows ug "usb not recognized" kay ang chord gd ang connection pdung sa pc. if wla jud connection dli ta xa mo msg in the first place. just a hunch though.... and ang power indicator sa ext hdd kay mo green mn.

    kato ning enclosure with the laptop hard disk installed, right?

    Ang usb cord ani niya, 2 ka USB ga sunod then ang tumoy is for the enclosure na?

    Try to install/plugin the 2 USBs in 2 separate USB ports in the PC daw. . .
    But, if it still won't work, the HD/Enclosure itself has the problem. . .

    no, it isn't not an enclosure. its an external harddrive.

    bro, mao sad na symptoms kung ang USB cord ang guba.. 4 ang connection sa USB bro (ground, +data, -data, ug +5V) wat f +data ang putol ang connection then the rest is connected, for sure it can still power the LED in your ext Hd..
