Nokia 5800 XpressMusic - Full phone specifications





Nokia has officially announced its touch screen handset (which was popularly called as “Tube”) 5800 Xpress Music. Nokia 5800 XpressMusic will be the first device running the 5th Edition of Nokia’s Series 60 OS and its a music centered handset. Nokia 5800 supports finger touch as well as stylus. 5800 comes equipped with an impressive 3.2-inch 640 x 360 resistive touchscreen to go along with its 3.2-megapixel autofocus cam, Carl Zeiss optics, dual LED flash, GPS, WiFi, 3.5mm jack, and a microSD slot with support for 16GB cards.

Features available on Nokia 5800;

* 3.2-inches screen and has a 16:9 aspect ratio
* 3.2 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics and dual LED flash
* Virtual QWERTY keyboard, a pen stylus, or plectrum
* GPS, as well as Bluetooth, 3G, and Wi-Fi
* Graphic equalizer, 8GB memory, support for all main digital music formats, and a 3.5mm jack.
* Built-in surround sound stereo speakers
* New media bar interface, always accessible via a touch-sensitive button above the display
* Proximity sensor to save battery life and avoid inadvertent touches
* 111 x 51.7 x 15.5 mm, 109 g
* Available in black, red and blue

Nokia 580 Xpress music is priced at $385 (€279) and should be available in this quarter. A high priced version which includes Nokia’s “Comes With Music” feature will be available early next year. Whether Nokia 5800 could be an iPhone killer only time can tell, but it has got all the features to become one.

nice phone..first nokia touchscreen (the one used in darknight)
loud speakers, and nice placement sa 3.5mm jack
nice camera also. but they said its not well integrated kay naay double tap and single tapping sa iyang applications. Lets see how this thing goes when its out. Though its not gonna be an iphone killer as this is targeted as mid end phone
