hi! I'm from Insular Life... nindot pud ang products sa among company. I'm not trying to be biased ha...
Naa man pud koy plan with PhilAm Life... Nindot pud to siya... Ni-stop lang ko kay gihasolan ko sa akong policy ato... I mean, wala nako gi-atiman sa akong agent, (and I know the duties of an agent since agent man sad ko...) So, dissatisfied client nako... And since my status changed, I had to update so many things sa akong policy all on my own, and I had to go to Jones nga PhilAm kay didto man akong nahibaw-an nga ilang office... Which is layo sa amo-a, Lapu2x (kadto nga time). And when I try to call their office sa Jones, pirmi lang ang operator nga voice recorded akong ka-sturya... Saputon jud ko ana when I call them sa office kay wala jud koy maka-sturya... Ka-pila nako nag-update ug status, from single to married to adding an additional beneficiary. I had to process everything on my own... Until sa pag-surrender nako sa akong policy, ako ra gihapon...
I think daghan ko ug ka-pareha ug situation, but the thing is I am an agent myself and I do my best not to put my clients thru all the hassles. So, when I compared myself to my MIA PhilAm agent, I felt really bad. Basta for me, I thing nga maka-panindot ug dating sa insurance companies sa clients, is on how they're being serviced by their agents. So, if you started your policy thru an agent, kanang ikay gi-duol, for me, dapat ipadayon ang service after the sale of the policy... Dili lang sa sugod... So, my advice to you guys out there, try to check out the agent nga muduol ninyo. Try to see if he's only after the commission or if he's there to serve your needs jud... Kay mu-matter man na in the end... What if naay nahitabo nimo nya MIA imong agentIkaw pa ang ma-hassle ug claim didto
Pero since dili man jud nato malikayan ang mga agents nga mu-MIA, tungod lisod man sad jud ni nga trabaho, dili pud pasabot nga dili nalang pud ta mu-follow-up sa atong policy... Dapat jud ta mu-ff up, esp sa mga payments, update sa atong kaugalingon kung naay changes sa atong life, kung walay statement madawat, ff-up sa company - kay kita ra man gihapon ma-alkansi if dili ta mu-ff-up. So, hassle jud kung walay agent... hehe
Anyways, product-wise, ganahan sad gihapon ko sa mga plans sa Insular Life kay limited paying period (naay 5 or 10 years) at least dili ta forever mag-bayad, naa pud mga plans nga naay pension type nga plans, bale kita mismo nga nagbayad, makatilaw jud ta sa atong gi-investan... And naa na pud mi bag-o nga educational plan karon...and so many more...
So, if you want to know more about the diff plans of IL (Insular Life) you can just pm me or email me at hyamora@gmail.com...
Hope naka-enlighten ko ninyo gamay about sa among company...
P.S. Naay plan akong mother sa Manulife, akoy nag-handle sa plans sa akong lolo and lola with Paramount Financial, and I used to have a plan with Pramerica and PhilAm Life. So, you can say nga dili ra jud IL plans akong nahibaw-an...![]()
@reelMakoy.. Health Insurance or Life Insurance imo gi pangita? For Health Insurance, naay mga nindot na traditional (short-term) like Intellicare, PhilAm care, Cocolife Care.. naa sad mga long-term na healthcare like Kaiser International which is a 3 in 1 na product (Healthcare, Life Insurance, and Investment). More like health savings siya. Since after age 60 above.. dili naman mo cover ang traditional insurance companies like philAm care, etc. ang Kaiser is part investment man sad so covered ka in the future with your own savings. So far sa akong trabaho is gi cover mi sa PhilAm Care and ni kuha sad ko ug Kaiser para sa akong long-term healthcare.
If Life Insurance ang imo gi pangita.. suggested nako is Cocolife, Prudential Life or Insular Life.. Karon is naay gi tawag na Term Equity ang sa Cocolife wherein ang imo e pay will go to a Term life Insurance and ang remaining will be invested sa Mutual funds.. Different ni siya sa mga bundled na plans (Insurance w/ Savings) since if bundled ang plan, dli nimo makuha ang savings part. If in case naa mahiktabo, ang life insurance ra ang makuha. Pero kani is if in case naa mahiktabo.. ang life insurance and ang money sa mutual funds kay mao ang ma hatag sa dependents. Flexible sad ang payment program ani wherin pwede ra ka mo pay for 5 years (or dependi nimo) and the remaining years kay ang money sa mutual funds ang gamiton to pay sa Life Insurance in the succeeding payments.
If interested ka, I can help you with this.. I am a financial broker and among company, International Marketing Group, is partners with the country's best financial services (incl. Kaiser, Cocolife, PhilEquity, and more). pili-a ug tarong ang imong life insurance.. Take note sa gi sulti ni honey2723... if ang mu duol nimo na agent kay commisions lang or quota ang gi apas, dili jd na sila mo hatag sa tanan details about sa policy and in the future dako ug chance na magka problema..
Fire Insurance - Oriental Assurance, nakoi kaila if you want mag agent, they give comm. Ako nag agent ko, just for our own use, atleast ang comm mura na cya discount.

2. Phil am - Ok pud bya, napud kaila mo refund incase you want, i can recommend it to you, just pm me.
3. Sun life
4. Pru life
Nai daghan pa oi
mu-comment lang ko... commissions are given to the agents by the company so that these agents will do the most important part, post-sale service. checking up on you on a regular basis for any updates or any additional needs that needs to be addressed. TRUE SERVICE. so, if your agent promises you a part of their commission, you can't expect any service from them. that's all lang...
Pru Life UK is currently the best for me. Their agents are very well trained (at least most that i know of). Basicaly sir it boils down to the trust you have with your agent of choice. Furthermore if the product addresses what you want and what you need. Most products in the market are great.... it boils down if it addresses your need. I have policies with PhilAm and Pru Life Uk, so does my family members. But we are very satisfied with the service of our Pru Life UK agent. If you like, you can pm me and I'll refer you to my agent. try talking with him, if you like him then well and good if not then at least you have another perspective on insurance. hope you can decide to purcahse as soon as you can since protection provided by insurance is a very good investment whether you are single or married
