In a few weeks Intel will launch the E8600. Then it's the fastest Core 2 Duo-processor. It clocks at 3.33 GHz.
"Cooaler" has got a preview-sample and it looks great. They clocked the processor up to 6147 MHz.
It is not sure, if this one was a "golden touch" or this result is in concern with the new stepping. E8600 is the first processor, who uses the E0-stepping.

more reason for AMD not to launch its 65nm Dual Core Phenom.

45nm of intel will be up and running by Q4 2008 and masses will be at Q1 2009

this is for extreme edition with 3.33 GHz... i guess it will last long..

this will kill AMD... phenom ddnt even touch intel with 65nm whats up with 45nm.. hope AMD can think of something fast........
