need help in setup with xboxlive.

mga bro's, once again i need your help. i've been configuring for days on my xbox360 on how to setup xboxlive.
gpada man gud ni akong xbox360 den useless kaayo if dili ko makaconnect sa xboxlive. dili man sad ko ganahan ipa convert gud kay dili ko sugtan sa akong tiya. i've been watching tutorials on youtube and getting also some information on the internet. still nothing. pls. i need your help.

What is it exactly that you're having trouble with? Are you having trouble signing up to Xbox Live? Having trouble connecting? Having trouble playing multiplayer? Do you need help configuring your router?

this is what exactly happened. my xbox360 just came in and before it came i already have
an internet connection of 1mbps. i was trying for xboxlive and configuring its network settings.
ive typed the ipconfig /all command in the cmd and i was putting the i.p address , gateway and the primary DNS and secondary DNS.
also ive watched youtube videos wherein youll have to share the internet connection
but when i tried it, it says. a DEVICE is not recognized by the system(i dunno if this was the exact statement, this would appear after i do that internet connection sharing)

by the way my internet connection is activated via PpoE wherein youll have to input the username and password then dial.

From what you've said, sounds like you need to enable Windows ICS on your PC and configure it properly to share your internet connection with your 360.

Have you checked the Xbox support site bout the different scenarios of connecting to Live? If you haven't then here it is:

@murlock, kanang dsl router na free once magpainstall ka sa DSL sa pldt.

@obemon. bro, thanks for the help but its not ICS i think. are you connected to xboxlive? whats the minimum internet connection and the only router i have is the one that pldt gives when you are subscribed to their dsl services. my connection in my house goes like this, DSL router (i think) connected to the PC via ethernet cable (its RJ45, the one used in LAN's). the DSL router has 4 extra ports, i tried connecting it to the other vacant ports in it. after it i tried configuring its network settings. still nothing.

is it better if i would upgrade my internet connection to 3mbps ? or should i purchase a wireless router?

If you use a router and it has DHCP (your computer gets it's IP address from the router), you shouldn't have to put any settings in your 360 ... just have it use DHCP. If you are copying your IP address from your ipconfig output, two devices cannot use the same IP so yeah, change the last octet of the IP such as adding 1 to it (35 instead of 34 for example).

hahayz! Nwayz im here to help manichean!!! First off!!! You can choose us server or uk!!! First set your system on uk or us!! Den make a fake account at hotmail.com!!for you need it for xbox live!! And if you make for example uk make sure its uk in the country address in you hotmail.com and it will ask you a postal code!! Jst search google for a fake postal code!!! Same goes if you want us!!! Us u need zip code! Or area code!! Ka g ka nako!! Den make the account in xbox.com den log it in your xbox360 no need router and all those crapp!!! Mga noob na sila!! Jst plug in ur internet connection and put on automatic settings! Kapishh!! : )

and if you cannot connect to xboxlive using ur internet connection using automatic then try manual and still not working!den its a big prob!!! havnt encountered that! but usually its automatic setting then test connection! keep trying like 5 times! xbox 360 was built to detect internet connection automatic and ur ip address! ps kng ma da use pldt! kng globe mejo lisod!dont know why! hehehe
