login to your host (client pc) as is,
    right click 'my computer'
    select 'map network drive'
    browse to your server
look for the shared resource in your server and map it with a drive letter you want.

So everytime you log in with that account, automatically it will put a mapped drive in 'my computer'

    Can you try that??

are you using a domain or workgroup?

via batch logon script...kay kung sa workstation nimo i config pa ang shared resources, hassle na kaau, and there are times nga we practice "roaming profiles" so kanang manually mapping a network resource is a no no in this case...

pwde sad nimo set via user management sa active directory ang iyang home directory via mapping the said shared folder with user rights..para diretso na cya makakita sa iyang "shared" resource sa iyang workstation or any other workstation for that matter the moment the said user logs in..
