rowing up, I made sure to get my mother's signature for anything I had to turn in to school. However, when I got older, if I forgot to get something signed, I just ended up signing the thing myself and turning it in. No one ever figured it out or asked any questions about it because I was able to replicate her signature pretty well.
The only time I forged a signature without permission was in highschool. It was completely stupid. I wrote a note to leave school early with a girl and her mother so I could get dropped off at my house with huge boxes of fund-raising stuff that I would not have been able to comfortably carry on the bus. I tried calling home all day to get someone to come pick me up but the phone was constantly busy. So, I wrote a note, forged the signature and turned it into the office. I ended up getting busted to a certain extent. They called home for me and someone actually answered the phone when the school called and I was able to explain my way out of it and no one thought I had forged it. However, instead of getting a ride with my friend and her mom, someone came and picked me up.
Did you ever forge a parent's signature? What was it for? Did you ever get caught?
